Alpha® Ceramica Vitrified Diamond Polishing Pads are aggressive wet polishing pads that remove saw marks and grinding marks before granite polishing. They establish the starting surface needed for the finer polishing stages.
The vitrified bond consists of compressed, diamond-impregnated pellets surrounded by plastic. This construction provides the aggressive cutting action needed for difficult grinding marks while supporting long pad life and consistent preparation results.
Ceramica Vitrified pads are well suited to bullnose, profiled, and other curved edges. Their aggressive cutting action prepares these shapes for subsequent polishing stages. More flexible polishing discs may be preferable for tight internal corners and concave profiles.
Ceramica Vitrified polishing discs are available in 3", 4", and 5" diameters, with 60, 150, and 300 grits offered in every size. All options use hook-and-loop backing, are intended for compatible central water-feed polishers, and have a maximum operating speed of 4,000 RPM.
