Margin Trowels

Margin trowels use a narrow blade for applying and handling mortar in confined areas, along edges, and during detail work. They can also be used for compatible back-buttering, mixing, and other installation tasks where a full-size notched trowel is impractical.

Choosing the Right Tile Trowel

Choose tile trowels according to tile dimensions, tile back profile, substrate conditions, setting material, and required mortar coverage. Larger tile does not automatically determine a specific notch size, so trowel selection should provide the coverage required for the particular tile and installation.
