BLUE BEAR® BEAN•e•doo® Mastic Remover is a fast-acting, soy-based adhesive remover formulated to soften and remove mastics and flooring adhesives from concrete surfaces. Its low-odor, low-VOC formula is free of harsh chemicals, making it suitable for indoor use and occupied spaces.
The penetrating formula softens black mastic, including asbestos-containing black mastic, as well as vinyl-acrylic mastics and other tile and carpet adhesives that may have been in place for decades. Once softened, the adhesive can be removed using a long-handled scraper or floor squeegee.
Apply the remover evenly over the adhesive until all ridges are covered and allow sufficient dwell time for the adhesive type being removed. After scraping away the softened adhesive, clean any remaining residue with BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ Cleaner & Degreaser and rinse with water using a mop or pressure washer.
BEAN•e•doo® provides an effective alternative to harsh solvent-based removers while maintaining excellent performance on difficult flooring adhesive removal projects. Coverage varies by container size, with one gallon treating approximately 125 square feet on horizontal concrete surfaces.
