Product Information
BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ 700DG Degreaser is a professional-strength cleaner and degreaser that removes oil, grease, dirt, and grime from concrete, metal, painted walls, asphalt, and other compatible hard surfaces. Its super-concentrated formula adjusts for routine cleaning or demanding jobsite cleanup.
Emergeâ„¢ 700DG is formulated for use after BLUE BEAR paint strippers and mastic removers, lifting the oily residue that can remain after coatings and adhesives are removed. This final cleaning step helps prepare the underlying surface for the next stage of the project.
The concentrated degreaser cleaner supports general hard-surface cleaning, floor-scrubber use, and soaking dirty tools. It provides one cleaning solution for floors, equipment, tools, and maintenance areas where greasy residue and heavy grime must be loosened and removed.
The low-odor, biodegradable formula dilutes with water to match different cleaning tasks. Its adjustable concentration provides economical cleaning for routine maintenance, surface preparation, floor machines, and heavy-duty applications.

Common Questions
700DG can be used on concrete, metal, painted walls, asphalt, and other compatible hard surfaces. Because coatings, finishes, and surface conditions vary, test the diluted cleaner in an inconspicuous area before broad use. Avoid applying it to materials that are incompatible with alkaline cleaners.
Yes. 700DG is specifically formulated to remove residue left after using BLUE BEAR paint strippers and mastic removers. Agitate the mixed cleaner across the treated surface, collect the loosened residue, and rinse with clean water. Additional cleaning cycles may be necessary before further surface preparation.
For general hard-surface cleaning, mix four ounces of 700DG with one gallon of water. Apply the solution freely, scrub to loosen oil, grease, dirt, and grime, then collect the dirty liquid. This lower concentration is intended for routine cleaning rather than floor machines or tool soaking.
For use in a floor-scrubbing machine, mix one part 700DG with one part water. Confirm that the machine and its components are compatible with the cleaner, then follow the equipment manufacturer’s operating requirements. Remove the loosened soil and rinse the cleaned surface with water after scrubbing.
Dirty tools can be soaked in a tray or bucket containing a one-to-one mixture of 700DG and water. After soaking, scrub the tools as needed and rinse them thoroughly with clean water. Do not use an aluminum container because the current safety data sheet identifies aluminum as unsuitable.
Yes. After scrubbing, remove the loosened oil, grease, dirt, and cleaning solution with a mop, squeegee, or commercial vacuum. Rinse or mop the surface with clean water to remove remaining cleaner and residue. Complete rinsing is especially important before applying another coating, adhesive, or flooring product.
700DG is low odor, biodegradable, and contains 1% VOC, but it must still be handled as a corrosive cleaner. The current SDS requires eye or face protection and protective clothing. Avoid skin contact and mist, provide ventilation, keep it away from children, and follow all first-aid instructions.
