The RaimondiĀ® R.L.S. VITE Cap is a reusable leveling cap designed for use with R.L.S. VITE clips to reduce tile lippage during installation. The cap threads onto the clip and can be quickly spun down with two fingers before final tightening, providing the pressure needed to bring adjacent tiles into alignment.
The cap features dedicated finger grips for quickly starting rotation and applying the necessary tightening force during leveling. Its hollow design keeps the grout joint visible during installation, allowing the system to be positioned along tile edges as well as at tile intersections.
R.L.S. VITE Caps work with the system's range of clips for 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, and 3 mm grout joints. Standard clips support tile thicknesses from 3 to 15 mm (1/8" to 5/8"), while tall clips support thicknesses from 14 to 26 mm (17/32" to 1-1/32"). Once the adhesive has set, the cap can be removed for reuse.
For tiles with particularly delicate surface finishes, the cap can be paired with the R.L.S. VITE scratch-preventing washer. Its soft rubber ring helps prevent scratching and tile movement during tightening while allowing the washer to remain stationary without being held by hand. The washer can be removed from the cap when it is not required and does not change the supported tile thickness range of compatible clips.
