Product Information
Alpha® Ceramica Vitrified Diamond Polishing Discs are aggressive preparation discs for removing saw marks and grinding marks before polishing granite. Available in 60, 150, and 300 grits, they establish the surface needed to begin the polishing sequence with consistent results.
The vitrified bond uses compressed diamond-impregnated pellets surrounded by plastic to provide the cutting action needed for difficult grinding marks. This construction combines aggressive material removal with long disc life for repeated fabrication and finishing work.
Ceramica Vitrified discs are well suited for bullnose and profiled edges and can also be used across curved edges. Their combination of cutting performance and control supports stone fabricators, tile contractors, and monumentalists preparing granite surfaces for subsequent polishing stages.
The discs are available in 3", 4", and 5" diameters with Hook & Loop attachment and a maximum operating speed of 4,000 RPM. Grit options include 60 grit for aggressive initial preparation, followed by 150 and 300 grit options for progressively refining the surface before polishing.
