The Alpha® Rigid Backer Pad is designed for polishing applications that require a flat, stable backing surface. Its rigid construction prevents pad flexing during operation, making it suitable for straight edges, flat surfaces, and areas where surface consistency is important.
The hook and loop face accepts polishing pads, sandpaper, and felt wheels, while the 5/8"-11 thread fits most common polishers and grinders. The rigid design is commonly used for edge polishing, stair work, corners, and other areas where flexible backer pads are not preferred.
