Product Information
The Alpha® AIR-850 and AIR-854 are high-performance center water-feed tools for wet polishing, drilling, and profiling hard surfaces. Their five-vane motors use hybrid composite vanes to produce more power than the previous generation while operating at a maximum no-load speed of 5,500 RPM.
The center water-feed system delivers water through the polisher regardless of its working position. A redesigned splash guard controls spray while maintaining visibility of the work surface, and the water quick coupler includes a shut-off valve for convenient flow control.
The 2.75 lb body supports maneuverability during polishing and profiling. A silicone cover cushions and insulates the gear head, while the redesigned end case improves access to the air and water controls. The lightweight format also makes either model a practical pneumatic buffer for detailed hard-surface finishing.
The AIR-850 uses a 5/8"-11 spindle, while the AIR-854 uses an M14-2 spindle. Both models operate at 85 PSI, consume 15 CFM, and use a 1/4" BSPP air inlet with a 1/8" BSPP water inlet. An enhanced spindle shaft and full-size wrench simplify accessory removal.
Standard AIR-850 and AIR-854 models include 15 ft air and water hoses, a reversible side handle, splash guard, exhaust hose, rust inhibitor oil, water quick coupler, wrench, screwdriver, and service components. AIR-850M and AIR-854M packages include the pneumatic polisher and rust inhibitor oil only.
