BLUE BEAR® BEAN•e•doo® 500MR Mastic Remover is a soy-based adhesive remover formulated to soften and remove a wide range of mastics and carpet or tile adhesives from concrete surfaces. It is effective on vinyl, acrylic, and black/asbestos mastics, including adhesives that have been in place for decades.
Made with soybeans instead of petroleum distillates, BEAN•e•doo® 500MR offers a low-odor, low-VOC alternative for remodeling and restoration projects. Its formula is well suited for use in schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, and other occupied environments where minimizing harsh chemical exposure is important.
After application, the remover penetrates and softens adhesive for mechanical removal with a scraper or squeegee. Black mastics typically soften within one to two hours, while vinyl and acrylic mastics generally require four to eight hours. For residue cleanup after adhesive removal, use BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ 700DG Degreaser.
