Product Information
BLUE BEAR® 605PRO with Safenol™ is a professional paint stripper formulated to remove multiple layers of paint, lead-based paint, varnish, latex, enamel, urethane, sealers, some epoxies, and other single-component coatings. The non-caustic gel is made without methylene chloride, acetone, or mineral spirits and is designed to remove multiple coating layers in one application.
The thick gel formula clings to horizontal and vertical surfaces for use as a wood stripper, metal stripper, concrete stripper, and masonry stripper. Its low-odor formula is suitable for indoor and outdoor renovation, restoration, and surface preparation projects. Always test a small, inconspicuous area before treating the complete surface.
When removing lead-based paint, the coating becomes encapsulated within the stripping gel to help prevent airborne lead particles during removal. Collect the removed coating and gel, then dispose of the material according to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Shake well and apply a thick layer by pouring or using a brush, squeegee, or commercial airless sprayer. Allow the coating to soften completely before removing it with a scraper. Average coverage is approximately 125 square feet per gallon on horizontal surfaces and 75 square feet per gallon on vertical surfaces. Remaining residue can be cleaned with BLUE BEAR® Emerge™ 700DG Degreaser or water and a scrub brush, mop, or power washer.
