wedi Shower Kit with Pre-Sloped Base
wedi Fundo Shower Kits provide coordinated waterproofing components for constructing tiled showers with center or off-center point drains. Each kit combines a pre-sloped Fundo shower base with a Fundo Shower Curb Lean, creating a defined shower floor and entrance without forming a traditional mortar-bed slope.
Integrated wedi Shower System Components
The shower base directs water toward the Fundo Click and Seal drain unit, which uses a mechanical compression connection with compatible 2" PVC, ABS, or cast-iron waste pipes. wedi Building Panels cover three shower walls up to 80" high to continue the coordinated waterproofing system beyond the shower floor.
Multiple Sizes and Drain Layouts
Eleven configurations cover shower footprints from 36" x 36" through 48" x 72". Most models feature a center drain, while the 36" x 72" size is also available with an off-center drain. Included fasteners, plumbing seals, and a corner putty knife help complete the wedi shower assembly.

Are the drain cover and wedi Joint Sealant included?
No. The wedi Fundo drain cover and wedi Joint Sealant are sold separately with these kit configurations. Select a compatible drain cover and purchase enough Joint Sealant to complete panel seams, fastener locations, curb connections, and other required waterproofing transitions.
How does the pre-sloped shower base work?
The Fundo shower base has a factory-formed slope that directs water toward the selected point drain location. This removes the need to construct a traditional mortar-bed slope and provides a consistent tile substrate when the base is installed according to wedi requirements.
What waste pipes work with the Click and Seal drain?
The Fundo Click and Seal drain unit uses a mechanical compression connection with compatible 2" PVC, ABS, or cast-iron floor waste pipes. The drain connection itself does not require glue or sealant. Drain placement and the completed plumbing connection must still follow wedi instructions and applicable codes.
How much shower wall coverage is included?
