The GURU® G-FLEX Uncoupling Membrane is a waterproof tile underlayment designed to provide uncoupling, crack isolation, load distribution, and vapor management beneath ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile installations. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a thermo-bonded polypropylene fiber backing, it creates a durable foundation for residential and commercial tile assemblies.
G-FLEX meets the requirements of ANSI A118.10 for waterproofing and ANSI A118.12 for crack isolation, allowing a single membrane to provide multiple performance benefits. When installed correctly, it creates a waterproof layer while accommodating substrate movement to help protect finished tile installations.
