Krud Kutter Brush-Wash Cleaner & Renewer

I needed to clean a brush I use for treated lumber sealer and the packaging didn’t indicate what to use for cleanup, I figure I’m covered for anything with this since it works on water or oil base. It’s also biodegradable, which I usually take to mean it doesn’t work, but this stuff actually worked, easy to use, no smelly strong chemicals.

Ease of use

I am so very well pleased with this product. My Gdaughter loves to paint but just laid aside 1/2 dozen good brushes (1/2 “ to 3”) and I felt they were ruined b/c they had dried up a year or more. I put a good 2 1/2 inch brush in a container of Krud Kutter and left it for 48 hrs but didn’t expect good results!! I was very pleasantly surprised as the brush was loose and most of the paint had come loose. With a steel brush I worked on the bristles several minutes and the brush felt almost like a new brush!! I have since cleaned up the rest of the brushes with the same soak that I used in the first brush. Would recommend this product to clean just about anything!! Try it on the most stubborn first but give it some time. It’s not magic but it’s impressive!!

The formula it self draws the paint out but I think it weakens the bristles
