Product Information
ZinsserĀ® WaterTiteĀ® Professional Mold & Mildew-Proof Waterproofing Paint is a low-odor, oil-based coating for waterproofing interior and exterior concrete, stucco, cement, cinder block, and other masonry surfaces. It helps prevent water seepage through masonry walls and concrete basement slabs and withstands up to 34 lbs. of water pressure.
WaterTite Professional can be applied above or below grade to wet or dry surfaces. It is suited for basement walls, exterior foundations, retaining walls, and concrete basement slabs prior to flooring installation. The coating also helps prevent recurring efflorescence and inhibits mold and mildew growth on the paint film.
The coating is designed for a two-coat application. The first coat primes and seals the masonry surface, while the second coat completes the waterproofing system. WaterTite Professional dries to a smooth, non-yellowing eggshell finish and can be recoated in 4 hours.
WaterTite Professional is suitable for alkaline surfaces up to 12.5 pH but is not elastomeric and will not bridge cracks, expansion joints, or movement between dissimilar materials. It should not be used on glazed or non-porous surfaces, potable water tanks, cisterns, bird baths, swimming pools, or floors subject to foot traffic.
