Fast-Acting Wallpaper and Adhesive Removal
Zinsser® DIF® Liquid Ready-To-Use Wallpaper Stripper uses a fast-acting enzyme formula to remove nearly all types of wallpaper, decals, Contact® paper, and dried adhesive. The formula begins working in minutes to loosen wallcoverings and adhesive for easier scraping and removal.
No-Drip Formula Stays Wet Longer
The ready-to-use liquid is formulated to reduce running and dripping while staying wet longer on the surface. This provides more working time and reduces the need to continually remoisten wallpaper during removal. The clear, low-odor formula is non-staining and leaves walls clean.
Spray or Sponge Application
DIF Liquid can be sprayed or applied with a sponge. Allow the stripper to penetrate for 5–10 minutes before removing loosened wallpaper. Difficult wallcoverings can be scored before reapplying the stripper and allowing another 5–10 minutes of penetration time.
Removes Residual Wallpaper Adhesive
After the wallcovering is removed, DIF Liquid can be reapplied to remaining adhesive. Allow it to work for 5–10 minutes, then scrape or sponge away the residue and rinse the surface with clean water.

How long should DIF Liquid sit before removing wallpaper?

Does wallpaper need to be scored before applying DIF Liquid?
Not always. If the top layer does not peel away easily, score the wallpaper before applying additional stripper to help the solution penetrate.
