Waterproof Sheet Membrane for Tile Installations
wedi® Subliner Dry is a flexible, tileable sheet membrane for waterproofing interior walls and floors, including showers and steam rooms. It installs over suitable existing wall and floor underlayments, including drywall, and can be covered with ceramic tile, slabs, and natural stone tile.
0.09 Perm Vapor Resistance for Steam Showers
Subliner Dry has a vapor resistance rating of 0.09 perms when tested to ASTM E96 Method E. This low-perm performance makes the membrane suitable for steam showers and steam rooms where both waterproofing and vapor management are required behind the tiled surface.
Flexible Membrane with Printed Installation Guides
The membrane combines strength with a pliable construction that makes it easier to measure, cut, position, and embed over wall and floor surfaces. Measuring and cutting lines are printed directly on the membrane to assist with layout during installation.
Overlapped or Sealing Tape Seam Installation
Subliner Dry installs in modified thinset tile mortar such as wedi® PRO-SET™. Adjacent sheets can be overlapped by 2", or butted together and covered with wedi® Subliner Dry Sealing Tape centered over the seam. Overlaps and sealing tape are embedded in wedi® Sealant 620 or wedi® S-DRY™ SEAL to complete the waterproof and vaporproof assembly.
