Product Information
Rust-Oleum® Marine Coatings Anti-Slip Additive is a pumice material that mixes into latex or oil-based paints to add slight surface texture and improve skid resistance. It can be used on wood, metal, fiberglass, and concrete without changing the color or performance properties of the coating.
The additive is designed for coatings applied to walking surfaces including floors, decks, stairs, ramps, patios, boat jetties, and walkways. It can be added to floor coatings with a dry film thickness of 8 mils or less.
Use one 1/2-pint container of Anti-Slip Additive per quart of coating. Mix thoroughly until evenly distributed and stir frequently during application to prevent settling. Application of coatings containing the additive by airless spray is not recommended.
