Product Information
Rust-Oleumยฎ Magnetic Primer is a dark gray basecoat that creates a surface capable of attracting magnets. It can be applied to wood, metal, masonry, drywall, and plaster for magnetic walls and other paintable surfaces.
After the primer is applied, it can be top coated with any latex or chalkboard paint to achieve the desired finished appearance. Magnetic performance is best with strong, lightweight magnets and a properly coated surface.
One quart covers approximately 39โ48 sq. ft. with one coat or 13โ16 sq. ft. when applying three coats. The primer is safe for use near electronics but cannot be used in conjunction with dry erase paint.
