Product Information
OSI® QUAD® Window, Door & Siding Sealant is an all-season exterior sealant for residential and low-rise construction. It forms a tough, rubbery seal around windows, doors, fiber-cement and vinyl siding, PVC trim, residential roofing, and gutters while resisting outdoor weather exposure.
The elastomeric formula remains permanently flexible with ±25% joint movement capability. It can be applied in temperatures from 20°F to 100°F and resists UV exposure, water, yellowing, and the collection of dirt and dust.
QUAD bonds without primer to many common exterior substrates, including cedar, painted or stained wood, fiberglass, vinyl, coated aluminum, steel, metal, brick, masonry, and concrete. Once cured, the sealant can be painted with latex paint.
The sealant applies smoothly with clean cut-off and minimal stringing. Tooling is not necessary or recommended. For proper sealant performance, applications should be at least 1/4" wide and 1/4" deep.
