Nuheat® Mesh is a 120 V electric floor heating system designed for installation beneath ceramic and porcelain tile, granite, marble, natural stone, laminate, and engineered wood flooring. The system provides comfort heating in bathrooms, showers, kitchens, entryways, and other living areas.
Low-Profile Self-Adhesive Mesh Installation
The 3/16" low-profile system uses self-adhesive mesh to hold the heating mat against standard subflooring materials during layout and installation. Three mesh bands maintain consistent heating cable spacing while allowing sections of cable to be removed from the mesh when routing through difficult areas.
Twisted-Pair Heating Cable with Flexible Cold Lead
The grounded, two-wire heating cable uses a twisted-pair design that emits no measurable electromagnetic fields and is protected by a PVC outer jacket. A thin mechanical splice and flexible 10 ft cold lead make the connection easier to embed in the subfloor and route to the thermostat location.
Multiple Sizes for Residential Floor Heating Layouts
Nuheat Mesh mats are available in 13 sizes covering 12 to 120 sq. ft. Each mat is 20" wide with lengths matched to its coverage area, allowing the appropriate size to be selected for the heated floor layout. Square-foot coverage is based on a square room with a 2" unheated border.
