GURU® W-S Peel & Stick Waterproofing Band is a self-adhesive seam tape made from WATER-STOP membrane for sealing approved joints in tiled wall assemblies. It creates continuous waterproof protection across W-S Board-to-W-S Board seams and W-S Board-to-W-S Niche connections, helping protect the wall substrate before tile is installed.
The built-in adhesive eliminates the need for separate thin-set mortar or bonding adhesive at approved joints, reducing mixing and mess while helping create consistent coverage. The 5-inch width provides broad contact across the seam, while the 65-foot 7-inch roll covers multiple wallboard joints efficiently.
This 20 mil waterproofing seam tape passes ASTM D4068 waterproofness testing and has a 0.3 perm water-vapor transmission rating. It also provides standard crack-resistance performance under ANSI A118.12, is IAPMO listed, and carries a light-commercial service rating for added confidence in approved tile wall applications.
