Product Information
Aqua Mix Poultice Stain Remover is a dual-purpose, non-acidic cleaning powder designed to address stains that ordinary surface cleaning may not reach. When mixed into a thick paste, its absorptive clay draws deep-set oil and grease from compatible porous tile, grout, masonry and honed or unpolished natural stone.
The same powder can be mixed into a thin slurry to provide fine abrasive cleaning action for stubborn surface stains and light grout haze. This second use helps contractors and property owners handle both absorbed contamination and surface residue without purchasing separate stain-removal products.
The formula is suitable for honed or unpolished granite, limestone, marble, slate and travertine, along with porcelain, quarry tile, Saltillo, terra-cotta, cement pavers, masonry and other porous tile and grout. It can also be used as an additive with designated Aqua Mix cleaners when additional cleaning power is needed.

Common Questions
It is designed to remove deep-set oil and grease stains from compatible porous materials. As a fine abrasive cleaning powder, it can also remove stubborn surface stains and light grout haze. Results depend on the stain and substrate, and deeply absorbed contamination may require repeated treatment.
The manufacturer recommends it for honed or unpolished granite, limestone, marble, slate and travertine. It is also suitable for porcelain, quarry, Saltillo, terra-cotta, cement pavers, masonry surfaces and other porous tile and grout. Test a small area and keep it away from non-recommended surfaces.
Mix the powder with water to form a thick, pliable paste. Apply a 1/4" layer over the stain with at least a 1" overlap, cover it with plastic or wax paper containing a few small holes, and leave it for 24 to 48 hours before removing and rinsing.
Pre-wet a manageable area, mix the powder into a thin slurry, and agitate by hand or with a 175 to 350 RPM buffer and white nylon pad. Keep the surface wet, remove the solution, rinse twice with clean water, and buff dry with clean towels.
Yes. The manufacturer states that the poultice process may be repeated when necessary. If the treated area appears darker after removal because it absorbed moisture, allow it to dry completely for approximately five to seven days before evaluating the final result.
Use caution on polished surfaces. The product's light abrasive action, especially when paired with high-speed equipment, may dull the high-polished finish of some marbles. It is specifically listed for honed and unpolished natural stone, so test first and do not use it on non-recommended materials.
Yes. Aqua Mix identifies it as an additive that can boost Aqua Mix Phosphoric Acid Substitute, Heavy-Duty Tile & Grout Cleaner and Stone Deep Clean. Follow the applicable cleaner label and manufacturer directions rather than combining it with products that do not have confirmed compatibility.
Wear chemical-resistant gloves and skin and eye protection while handling the powder or mixed product. Avoid swallowing it and follow the complete label instructions. If it contacts the eyes or skin, follow the manufacturer's first-aid directions and seek medical attention if irritation continues.
