This 100% polymer-solid Aqua Mix penetrating sealer uses polycure technology to provide maximum stain protection beneath the surface. What surfaces can Enrich ‘N’ Seal be used on?
Enrich ‘N’ Seal is recommended for unsealed marble, granite, slate, limestone, travertine, quartzite and sandstone in interior or exterior settings. The surface must be clean, dry and free of wax, sealer or finish. Because enhancement varies by material, test an inconspicuous area before treating the entire surface.
How will Enrich ‘N’ Seal change the appearance of stone?
It darkens, enriches and highlights the natural color and character of stone, creating an enhanced or wet-look appearance without adding sheen. Results vary with the material, and the product is not completely removable from nonrecommended surfaces, making an inconspicuous test essential before full application.
Can Enrich ‘N’ Seal be used on grout or before grouting?
Yes. It seals and darkens grout joints and may also be used as a pre-grouting tile sealer on compatible clean stone or tile. For pre-grouting use, the manufacturer requires application at least two hours before grouting, with all unabsorbed product removed within the specified time.
When can Enrich ‘N’ Seal be applied to a new installation?
A new installation must be dry for 48 hours before application, and surfaces being sealed after grouting can be treated as soon as 48 hours after grouting. If multiple applications are required, allow at least 30 minutes between them. Highly porous surfaces may need another application after full cure.
How should excess Enrich ‘N’ Seal be handled?
Any sealer that does not penetrate must be wiped completely dry within five minutes of each application using clean, absorbent towels. Allowing excess product to remain can create surface residue. How long does Enrich ‘N’ Seal take to cure and wear?
The listed cure time is 48 hours. Expected wear is up to 15 years, but actual service life depends on the substrate, application, exposure, traffic and maintenance. Routine pressure washing affects expected wear, so 15 years should be treated as a maximum expectation rather than a guaranteed interval.
Can Enrich ‘N’ Seal be used with other sealers, and does it prevent etching?
No. The surface must be free of existing sealers and finishes, and the manufacturer states that other sealers or finishes should not be used with Enrich ‘N’ Seal. It provides stain resistance but does not prevent surface wear or etching caused by acids or caustic chemicals.
What safety and storage precautions apply to Enrich ‘N’ Seal?
The product is flammable and must be kept away from heat and ignition sources. Use chemical-resistant gloves and appropriate eye protection, avoid breathing vapor or spray, and store the tightly closed original container between 45°F and 85°F. Read the current label and safety data sheet before use.
