Alpha® Twincur Resin Bond Polishing Pads are 4" resin-bond diamond polishing discs designed for wet automatic edge polishing machines. They provide fast, consistent polishing on square and beveled granite edges, with durable resin construction suited to high-production fabrication environments.

Square, Beveled and Laminated Granite Edges

The polishing pads accommodate granite edges up to 1-1/4" thick and double-stacked laminated edges up to 1-1/2". Before beginning the resin sequence, Alpha recommends calibrating the straight or beveled edge with a metal-grit wheel to establish the proper surface for progressive polishing.

Snail Lock Connection for Fast Pad Changes

Each abrasive polishing disc uses a Snail Lock connection for quick grit changes during production. The 4" pads fit compatible wet single-head and multiple-head edge polishing machines, including equipment from Park Industries®, Comandulli, Mantello, Thibaut, Cavani, Denver, Loffler, and other manufacturers using compatible Snail Lock adapters.

Six-Grit Resin Bond Polishing Sequence

The sequence includes 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit diamond polishing wheels, with each pad rated for a maximum operating speed of 1,800 RPM. After completing the resin sequence, a compatible Alpha® Twincur Final Polish disc can be used to produce a deep, glossy granite finish.
