Product Information
Alpha® Twincur GEM-V Polishing Wheels provide one polishing system for straight and beveled edges across a wide range of materials, including granite, engineered stone and quartz surfaces, marble, limestone, concrete, crystallized glass, porcelain slabs, and sintered slabs. The system is also recommended by Cosentino® for polishing Dekton® collections.
The GEM-V Series uses a Hook & Loop backing designed for quick wheel changes without requiring wrenches. Available in 5" and 6" diameters, the wheels fit popular edge polishing machines and provide a convenient alternative to the Snail Lock connection used by the original Twincur GEM Series.
The polishing sequence includes 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit resin wheels in both 5" and 6" diameters. Each wheel has a maximum operating speed of 2,000 RPM, allowing fabricators to use a consistent system throughout the polishing progression.
The Twincur GEM-V Series includes the Tsuya final polishing wheel for producing a high, monument-quality polish, including on difficult materials such as Absolute Black granite. Tsuya provides the final polishing step after the progressive grit sequence and is available in both 5" and 6" Hook & Loop configurations.
