Polishing System for Countertops and Surface Restoration
Alpha® Turboshine is a 3" polishing and grinding system for seamless countertop installations, scratch removal, and surface restoration. The system includes tooling for polishing stone surfaces made from granite, engineered stone, quartz, and difficult marble varieties such as green and black marble. Additional grinding wheels support crystallized glass and glass applications.
Dual Adapter System for Reduced Vibration
Turboshine rigid polishing discs use Alpha's Dual Adapter System to reduce vibration during operation. The adapter accepts compatible disc types and grits without requiring the drive system to be changed, allowing faster transitions throughout multi-step polishing and restoration work.
Rigid Polishing Discs from 100 Grit Through Buff
The rigid polishing sequence includes 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit discs, followed by Black and White Buff options. The 2000 grit polishing disc is specifically designed to help restore the original surface condition of engineered stone and quartz, while the Buff discs complete the final polishing stage.
Grinding Wheels for Stone and Glass
Turboshine 3" grinding wheels are available in 60 and 120 grit for granite, engineered stone, crystallized glass, and glass. The grinding wheels use a 5/8"-11 thread and have a maximum operating speed of 14,500 RPM. The rigid polishing and buffing discs use the Dual Adapter System and are rated for a maximum of 4,000 RPM.
