The Alpha® PSC-150 Pneumatic Stone Cutter is an industrial-quality 6" cutter powered by a 2 HP pneumatic motor with a speed control governor. The governor regulates air consumption according to the torque required for the application, providing enough cutting power to cut 1-1/4" (3cm) stone slabs in a single pass.
The PSC-150 handles miter cutting on material up to 1-1/4" (3cm) thick without the time-consuming setup of a stationary cutting system. Its pneumatic design also makes it suited for sink-hole cutting and groove cutting for rodding applications, where exposure to water can increase maintenance demands on electric stone cutters. An optional carriage allows the cutter to work with the Alpha® Guide Rail System for precise miter cuts used in laminated stone fabrication.
The cutter can operate wet or dry and includes an Alpha® Eclipse II 6" blade for granite and engineered stone. Compatible cutting options include the Alpha® Katana 6" for porcelain panels and slabs, Hot-Rod 4" for cutting 1/4" steel rods and 1/8" fiberglass rods, and Libero 5" for marble applications where slabs are typically 3/4" (2cm) thick or less.
Included 15 ft. kink-free air and water hoses improve maneuverability around slabs and help reduce hose interference during cutting. The PSC-150 has a 2,000-hour duty cycle and includes an 8 oz. bottle of rust inhibitor oil along with the fittings, handles, wrenches, and other accessories required for operation and maintenance.
