Product Information
The Alpha® Guide Rail System provides a straight, stable reference for precision stone fabrication. The redesigned rails feature an integrated track for compatible Alpha carriage assemblies, allowing the carriage wheels to travel smoothly along the rail for controlled cutting, beveling, grinding, and polishing applications.
The guide rails are constructed from sturdy cast aluminum and are available in 4', 7', and 12' configurations. The 4' rail is well suited for countertop trimming at the job site, seamless countertop preparation, and side-edge bevel grinding and polishing. The longer 7' and 12' rails provide the working length needed for slab cutting and fabrication along the main edges of countertops.
The system works with application-specific carriage assemblies for compatible Alpha stone cutters. The ASC-5CSM carriage supports straight cutting with the ESC-125 Wet/Dry Stone Cutter, while the ASC-6CSM carriage supports straight and miter cutting with the PSC-150 Wet Stone Cutter. The guide rail can remain positioned on the material while the cutter setup is configured for precise edge fabrication.
When paired with the BAB-CASM Carriage Assembly and BAB1590 Beveling Auxiliary Base, the guide rail supports controlled grinding, beveling, and polishing for straight edges, chamfers, and more complex edge profiles. It can also support precision miter grinding for laminated waterfall edges on thin porcelain panels up to 1/2" thick, providing an alternative to technically demanding miter cutting.
The system is available as individual 4', 7', and 12' guide rails or as a bundle containing all three sizes. Individual rails include two clamps, while the 12' configuration consists of two 6' sections and includes a connector and four screws. The complete bundle includes the 4', 7', and 12' rails, six clamps, one connector, and four screws.
Common Questions
The system provides straight guidance for compatible cutting, miter cutting, beveling, grinding, and polishing setups used in stone and countertop fabrication.
The guide rails are available in 4' (1.2 m), 7' (2.1 m), and 12' (3.6 m) configurations. A bundle containing all three lengths is also available.
Alpha identifies the 4' guide rail as the most popular option for countertop trimming at the job site. It can also be used for seamless countertop preparation and side-edge bevel grinding and polishing.
The 7' and 12' guide rails are intended for longer fabrication work such as slab cutting and bevel grinding or polishing along the main edges of countertops.
Yes, when paired with compatible equipment. The ASC-6CSM carriage is designed for the PSC-150 Wet Stone Cutter and supports straight and miter cutting.
Yes. Compatible carriage and beveling auxiliary base configurations allow the rails to guide grinding, beveling, and polishing applications.
The 12' guide rail consists of two 6' rail sections and includes two clamps, one connector, and four screws.
The ASC-GRKIT includes 4', 7', and 12' guide rails, six clamps, one connector, and four screws. The 12' rail is made from two 6' sections.
