4.2mm and 7.5mm Groove Cutting Options
Two blade thicknesses match common countertop slab sizes. The 4.2mm Groove Cutter is recommended for 3/4" slabs, while the 7.5mm version is recommended for 1-1/4" slabs, allowing the cutter to match the material thickness used for the seam.
High-Speed Angle Grinder Compatibility
The Groove Cutter operates at speeds up to 14,500 RPM and is available with either 5/8"-11 or M14-2 threads for compatibility with common high-speed angle grinders. Alpha recommends using an appropriate universal safety guard with water feed and Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter for wet groove cutting applications.
