Product Information
Alpha® Nichigo G-Tape™ 3040 Series is a high-adhesion acrylic flashing tape for waterproof protection around windows, doors, and other building transitions. This permanent window flashing tape is lighter than traditional butyl and rubberized asphalt flashing products, making the rolls easier to handle during installation.
G-Tape 3040 can be applied to deck beams and joists to help protect framing from water exposure. Its waterproof acrylic construction allows the same flashing tape system to be used for deck framing, window openings, door openings, and other exterior transitions.
This permanent adhesive flashing tape forms a lasting bond without requiring an additional primer. It is rated for all-weather use from -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C) and carries an AAMA 711 Level 3 Class A rating for demanding hot- and cold-weather performance. High weather and UV resistance further support exterior flashing applications.
Nichigo G-Tape 3040 tears straight and cleanly by hand, reducing the need for a knife or scissors during installation. If exposed adhesive surfaces accidentally fold together while the liner is removed, they can be separated cleanly before the tape is applied. Each black roll measures 65' long and is available in 2", 4", 6", 9", and 12" widths.
