About This Product

Aggressive Grinding for Granite and Natural Stone

Alpha® DW Style Grinding Wheels are aggressive diamond grinding wheels formulated for grinding and shaping natural stone, including granite and other hard materials. Their combination of cutting performance and endurance makes them suitable for heavy material removal and shaping applications where controlled, efficient stock removal is required.

Fast Stock Removal with Turbo Design

The turbo wheel design provides fast stock removal when profiling edges, smoothing rough surfaces, shaping inside sinkhole cuts, preparing surfaces for lamination, and performing beveling work. DW Style wheels perform particularly well on hard granite, including red granite, allowing fabricators and tile installers to shape difficult materials while reducing grinding time and operator fatigue.

Wet or Dry Grinding with Angle Grinders

DW Style Grinding Wheels can be operated wet or dry and feature a 5/8"-11 thread for compatibility with commonly used angle grinders and polishing tools. The series is available in 4" and 6" diameters with Coarse and Medium grit options, allowing the wheel size and grinding aggressiveness to be matched to the application.
