Product Information
The Alpha® Contour Diamond Blade is specifically developed for cutting granite sinkholes and other curved applications in granite and engineered stone. It also performs well on quartzite, harder natural stone, and harder types of marble where controlled curved cutting and maneuverability are required.
Diamond segments are direct sintered to both sides of the steel core and along the peripheral cutting edge. This design produces a wider kerf that allows the blade to move through curved cuts more easily while supporting clean, accurate cutting. Diamond segments on the inside of the steel core help prevent undercutting, a common problem when making curved cuts with conventional blades.
The wider kerf and cutting design provide greater maneuverability than a standard diamond blade, reducing the need for difficult and time-consuming plunge cuts when shaping sinkholes and other curved openings. Available blade sizes from 4" to 6" provide cutting depths up to 1-5/8" for different fabrication requirements.
The Contour Diamond Blade can be used wet or dry and features a 7/8" arbor. It fits compatible wet/dry stone cutters and common angle grinders and can also be used with CNC routers equipped with a compatible cutting head.
