Product Information
The Alpha® AWS-110 Wet Stone Cutter is a 1,200W handheld saw for natural and engineered stone, porcelain, tile, concrete, masonry, and glass. Its compact, circular-saw-style configuration supports straight, controlled cuts, while the 11.2A motor reaches 13,000 RPM for dense materials such as porcelain, hard red granite, and engineered stone.
The included water-feed system directs water to the cutting area to help reduce airborne dust during wet cutting. An in-line GFCI provides ground-fault protection for wet applications, and the stone cutter can also operate dry when the application permits.
The reversible ruler guide supports two guided cutting methods. Position it down to reference the material edge or up to follow a straightedge. The tile cutter can also be operated freehand for cutting, scoring, profiling, and related fabrication tasks.
The saw accepts 4" and 4-1/2" cutting discs with a 20mm arbor and provides a maximum cutting depth of 1-1/4". Included self-stick felt strips attach to the base plate to help protect finished work surfaces from scratches as the tool moves across the material.
