Product Information
The Alpha® AWS-110 Wet Stone and Tile Cutter is a 1200W handheld cutting system for natural and engineered stone, porcelain, tile, concrete, masonry, and glass. Its 11.2A motor operates at 13,000 RPM to cut dense materials including porcelain, hard red granite, and engineered stone while supporting straight, controlled cuts for fabrication and installation work.
The AWS-110 includes a water-feed system that supplies water at the cutting area to reduce dust generated during wet cutting. A built-in GFCI provides electrical protection for wet applications, while the cutter can also be operated dry when the application allows.
The reversible ruler guide provides multiple ways to guide the cutter. With the guide positioned down, the tool can reference the edge of the material, while the raised position allows it to follow a straight edge. The AWS-110 can also be operated freehand for cutting, scoring, profiling, and other fabrication tasks.
The cutter accepts 4" and 4-1/2" cutting discs with a 20mm arbor and provides a maximum cutting depth of 1-1/4". Self-stick felt strips are included for the base plate to help protect finished work surfaces from scratches while moving the tool across the material.
