Alpha Ceramica TF replaces manual abrasive brushing with a coordinated sequence of four flexible 4" discs designed to create textured edge finishes on engineered stone and quartz. Positions 0 through 3 work as a complete system, giving fabrication professionals a consistent method for producing the intended texture.
Better Access to Corners and Sink Rims
The flexible disc construction conforms more comfortably to internal corners, curves, and sink rims. When paired with an undersized rubber backer pad, the discs gain additional flexibility for reaching tight areas that are difficult to finish with a full-size backing pad.

Yes. Alpha recommends using Positions 0 through 3 in sequence to produce the intended textured finish. Skipping a position can leave an inconsistent result because each disc performs a specific step within the complete Ceramica TF finishing system.
Which backer pad works best for corners and sink rims?
Alpha recommends an undersized rubber backer pad for internal corners, curves, and sink rims. The smaller pad leaves more of the flexible disc unsupported around its edge, helping it conform to tight areas. Flexible backer pads are intended for curves, while rigid pads support flat areas and straight edges.
Does the edge require preparation before using Position 0?
Yes. Alpha recommends removing saw marks, grinding marks, and deep scratches before beginning the four-position sequence. Ceramica Vitrified or Ceramica Metal discs in 60 and 150 grit are recommended for preparing the edge so scratches do not remain visible in the finished surface.
Can Ceramica TF be used for floors or countertop surface polishing?
No. The discs are designed for edge treatments and should not be used on floor polishing machines. Alpha also does not recommend them for countertop top polishing, scratch removal, or seamless countertop installations. Their intended applications include textured edges, internal corners, and sink rims.
