Product Information
Alpha® Ceramica Metal Diamond Polishing Discs are designed for the preparation stages of wet polishing harder natural stone, including granite. They also perform on engineered stone and porcelain slab, providing the aggressive cutting action needed to prepare surfaces for subsequent polishing stages and a deep glossy finish.
Ceramica Metal combines the hardness and aggressiveness of a metal bond diamond with the flexibility of a resin bond disc. This construction provides more aggressive material removal than a standard resin bond diamond disc while maintaining the flexibility needed for detailed polishing work.
The flexible disc construction allows polishing in tight and difficult-to-reach areas, including internal corners, inside rims of sink openings, concave surfaces, profiles, and curved edges. It can also be used on curved or flat monument surfaces where both cutting performance and flexibility are required.
Ceramica Metal discs are available in 60, 150, and 300 grits for progressive surface preparation, with 3" and 4" diameter options. All models use a hook-and-loop attachment and have a maximum operating speed of 4,000 RPM for consistent performance throughout the preparation process.
