About This Product
Waterproofing and Crack Isolation Membrane
GoBoard® Membrane is a flexible, lightweight waterproofing and crack isolation membrane for ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tile installations. It consists of a 100-micron polyethylene waterproofing layer laminated to polypropylene non-woven fabric on both sides, providing a reliable bonding surface beneath tile.
Shower and Steam Room Waterproofing Membrane
Use GoBoard Membrane in residential and commercial bathrooms, tubs, showers, laundry rooms, kitchens, backsplashes, balconies, patios, and other approved wet areas. It is suitable for interior and exterior applications and is rated for residential and commercial steam rooms according to ASTM E96 Method E.
Thin-Set Installation and GoBoard Compatibility
The fabric-facing surface is compatible with modified and unmodified thin-set mortars. GoBoard Membrane integrates with GoBoard panels, Banding, Corners, Curb Covers, and other GoBoard products. Maintain a minimum 2-inch overlap at membrane joints and adjoining waterproofing accessories to create a continuous waterproof assembly. Tile can be installed the same day after proper application.
