The HYDRO-BLOK® Classic Shower Pan is a preformed, tile-ready shower base for center-drain installations. Its 100% waterproof XPS foam core provides the foundation for a bonded shower waterproofing system, giving installers a lightweight alternative to forming and waterproofing a traditional mortar shower base.
A factory-formed slope guides water toward the center drain while providing a consistent surface for tile installation. Each shower pan includes a solid brass drain kit designed for HYDRO-BLOK Classic pans, eliminating the need to source the primary drain components separately.
Fiberglass mesh reinforces the foam core, while a modified cement coating provides a bonding surface for ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass, and mosaic finishes. The resulting tileable shower pan is easier to carry and position than a traditional mortar base while integrating with compatible HYDRO-BLOK shower components.
