Product Information
The BARWALT® PLS Max™ Tile Leveling System helps reduce tile lippage and maintain consistent grout joints while the thinset cures. Designed for wall and floor tile up to 14 mm thick, the system uses spacer bases and reusable wedges to keep adjoining tiles aligned during installation.
PLS Max spacer bases, also called tile leveling clips, are available for 1/16" and 1/8" grout joints. After the thinset has dried, strike the exposed spacer base with a rubber mallet in line with the grout joint to break it away while retaining the wedge for future installations.
The reusable tile leveling wedges can be tightened with BARWALT PLSâ„¢ Pliers for controlled pressure during installation. Anti-Scratch Disks can be placed beneath the wedges to help protect tile surfaces from scratches and marks. Spacer bases, wedges, PLS Pliers, and Anti-Scratch Disks are each sold separately.
Spacer bases and wedges are available in resealable bags containing 200 pieces. For larger installations, 1/16" and 1/8" straight spacer bases are available in 1,000-piece bulk boxes, while reusable wedges are available in 500-piece bulk boxes.
