Aqua Mix® Sealer's Choice® Gold is a premium water-based penetrating sealer formulated to provide maximum stain resistance on stone, tile, and grout. The no-sheen formula preserves the surface's natural appearance while providing protection suited for demanding applications, including food preparation and serving areas.
Rapid-Cure Water-Based Stain Protection
The Rapid Cure Formula provides protection in less than 4 hours. This impregnating sealer allows moisture vapor transmission and can be used for interior and exterior applications without creating a topical coating or glossy finish.
Surface Preparation and Sealer Application
Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free of waxes, existing sealers, or finishes before application. Apply the sealer with a paint pad, sponge, or brush, allow it to penetrate for up to 5 minutes, and then wipe the surface completely dry. Porous surfaces may require additional applications to achieve complete stain protection.
Pre-Grouting Sealer and Application Limitations
Sealer's Choice Gold can also be used as a pre-grouting sealer on appropriate surfaces. The penetrating formula provides stain resistance but does not prevent normal surface wear or etching caused by acids or caustic chemicals. If the sealer is allowed to dry on the surface, it may leave a white film that requires removal.
