Product Information
HMK® S244 Color Enhancer – Extra is a ready-to-use solvent-based impregnator formulated to enhance the natural color and structure of stone while providing protection against water, dirt, oil, and grease. As the product penetrates the surface, it reduces staining and makes routine cleaning easier without forming a surface coating.
S244 is suitable for natural stone, artificial stone, reconstituted stone, and terrazzo. The level of stain resistance varies with the absorbency of the material, while greater product penetration produces stronger color enhancement and improved water and oil repellency.
The impregnator does not yellow with age and only slightly affects the vapor permeability of the stone. It also helps reduce the effects of acidic substances on polished acid-sensitive surfaces, although it does not completely prevent etching. Once fully cured, the remaining material is not harmful to health.
