Natural Wax for Terracotta and Clay Tile
HMK® P328 Terracotta Wax is a ready-to-use solvent-based natural wax formulated to enhance unglazed terracotta, brick pavers, and clay tile surfaces. Special additives create an antique, rustic appearance while helping reduce water and dirt penetration for easier long-term maintenance.
Protective Interior Surface Treatment
The wax treatment improves the durability of interior clay and terracotta surfaces while enriching their natural character without creating a modern glossy appearance. It is intended for interior applications only and should not be used in continuously wet areas such as shower stalls.
Application and Follow-Up Care
Before application, thoroughly clean the surface and allow it to dry to a residual moisture content of 2-4%. If underfloor heating is installed, switch it off and allow the surface to cool before application. For best results, allow HMK® P328 to cure for 24 to 48 hours before applying HMK® P326 Terracotta Care to blend any unevenness in the wax finish.
