Waterproofing Tape for Shower Transitions
wedi® S-DRY™ Tape is made from S-DRY Membrane and is used to waterproof transitions between wall surfaces, shower bases, prefabricated modules, and other adjoining surfaces within S-DRY Shower Systems. The 5" wide tape is installed over transitions with a 2" overlap to maintain continuous waterproof protection.
Seam and Overlap Waterproofing with S-DRY SEAL
S-DRY Tape is bonded and waterproofed using wedi® S-DRY™ SEAL. It is used to cover seams and overlaps where S-DRY Membrane sheets and system components meet, creating a sealed transition throughout the waterproofing assembly.
Crack Isolation and Steam Room Applications
When installed with wedi S-DRY SEAL, S-DRY Tape supports waterproofing and crack isolation within the S-DRY system and is suitable for steam room applications. This allows the same transition treatment to be used in standard showers and more demanding wet-area installations.
