The HYDRO-BLOK® Classic Shower Kit combines the essential components for constructing a waterproof, tile-ready shower in one coordinated package. Each kit includes a pre-sloped center drain pan, waterproof wall panels, a mini shower curb, drain components, seals, sealant, fasteners, and installation accessories designed to work together.
The lightweight foam-core pan, wall panels, and curb provide waterproof substrates with modified cement surfaces ready for tile. HYDRO-BLOK Joint Sealant forms strong, flexible, watertight connections between components, while the included pipe and mixing valve seals help protect common plumbing penetrations.
The pre-sloped pan eliminates the need to form a traditional mortar shower base and directs water toward the center drain. Lightweight components are easier to carry, cut, and position, while the tile-ready surfaces support ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass, and mosaic finishes using an appropriate thin-set mortar.

The available Shower Kits measure 48" × 48", and 48" × 60". Depending on the selected size, the package includes four to seven 3' × 5' HYDRO-BLOK wall panels. Choose the size that best matches the planned shower footprint and required wall coverage.
Yes. Each Shower Kit includes a pre-sloped Classic pan with a center drain configuration, so the shower floor slope is formed into the pan. This removes the need to create a traditional mortar-bed slope and provides a consistent tile-ready base that directs water toward the drain.
HYDRO-BLOK surfaces accept ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass, and mosaic finishes using an appropriate thin-set mortar. For tile measuring 2" × 2" or smaller, HYDRO-BLOK recommends using a higher-compression grout, such as epoxy or urethane, to provide additional support.
The pan, wall panels, and curb use waterproof foam cores with tile-ready cement surfaces. HYDRO-BLOK Joint Sealant forms flexible, watertight connections at seams and joints, while the pipe and mixing valve seals protect plumbing penetrations when every component is installed according to HYDRO-BLOK instructions.
Each kit includes a solid brass drain assembly for the Classic center drain pan, together with a stainless steel drain grate. It also includes a mini shower curb measuring 2" high by 2.5" deep, which provides a lower-profile threshold than the standard HYDRO-BLOK shower curb.
Yes. The available sizes can support new tiled showers, corner layouts, walk-in designs, and tub-to-shower conversions. Because every listed kit uses a center drain pan, the plumbing location and shower footprint should be checked before ordering. HYDRO-BLOK foam components can be cut to fit suitable layouts.
Tile or stone, thin-set mortar, grout, shower doors, plumbing fixtures, and general installation tools are not included. The kit supplies the primary HYDRO-BLOK waterproofing components and accessories needed to build the tile-ready shower substrate, while finishing materials and project-specific tools must be selected separately.
