The GURU® W-S Shower Drain Flashing Set creates a waterproof connection between a compatible shower drain and the surrounding bonded membrane. Its 16" preformed WATER-STOP flashing covers the critical drain opening, helping prevent the drain-to-membrane transition from becoming a weak point in tiled shower waterproofing.
The included height adapter adjusts from 1/2" to 1-3/4" to accommodate different drain and shower floor configurations. An installation template helps accurately size and position the flashing, while the positive weep-hole protector supports proper drainage around compatible weep-hole drain assemblies.
The 20 mil flashing passes ASTM D4068 waterproofness testing and has a low 0.3 perm rating to help control moisture vapor. It meets ANSI A118.10 and ANSI A118.12 requirements and is IAPMO listed for use in residential and light commercial waterproofing assemblies.
