GoBoard® 1-5/8" Self-Drilling Fasteners are designed to secure GoBoard tile backer panels to metal stud framing. The self-drilling point penetrates compatible metal studs without requiring a separate pilot hole, helping streamline panel installation.
Each screw features a large-diameter head that distributes holding force across the GoBoard panel. The smooth underside helps the head seat securely against the board surface while reducing the risk of overdriving and damaging the panel.
The corrosion-resistant construction supports long-term performance in tile assemblies. These fasteners work with 1/4", 1/2", 5/8", and 1" GoBoard panels, and each 550-piece contractor pack includes the required T-25 Torx driver bit.
