40 mil PVC Shower Pan Liner
Dallas Specialty® Perma-Gard is a flexible 40 mil PVC Shower Pan Liner designed to provide waterproof protection beneath tile shower floors. The polyvinyl chloride membrane conforms to shower pan construction while creating a durable barrier against moisture.
Flexible Shower Base Liner with Cutting Guides
The gray PVC shower liner is continuously marked with guide lines every 6 inches to simplify measuring and straight-line cutting. Under normal recommended installation conditions, Perma-Gard will not rust, rot, or decay for the life of the installation.
Installation Over a Properly Sloped Subfloor
The 40 mil construction does not require a separate underlayment. However, the waterproof shower pan liner must still be installed over a properly sloped subfloor as required by applicable code. Drain weep holes must also remain unobstructed to support proper drainage and drying.
ASTM D4551-Compliant Waterproofing
Perma-Gard meets ASTM D4551, FHA, and HUD requirements for shower pan installations. The liner is intended for protected installations and should not be continuously exposed to sunlight. It is not compatible with tar-based products or tar paper felt.
