Product Information
The GURU® Square Drain Connector Kit is designed for traditional mud bed installations and GURU Heavy Duty Presloped Shower Pan systems with four slopes. This shower drain connector integrates the drain assembly with a bonded waterproofing system and can be installed over an existing drain pipe connection.
The connector features a bonding flange designed for thin-set adhesion at the drain connection. This bonding flange drain design supports the waterproof transition between the drain assembly and the surrounding bonded waterproofing system.
The included universal adapter ring provides preset heights for mud beds from 3/4" to 2" thick. It works with many common drain bodies featuring perforated mounting hole patterns and supports installation over an existing drain pipe connection.
The square drain connector provides up to 1/4" of horizontal movement to simplify drain alignment and positioning during installation.
Each kit includes the square drain connector, universal adapter, four W-S Dex outside corners, four W-S Din inside corners, W-S Sealant, a mixing valve seal, and a 3/4" pipe seal. Developed according to IAPMO PS106, the kit is available in black ABS or gray PVC to match compatible plumbing systems.
