Its prefabricated W-S Board construction is waterproof and tile-ready, eliminating the time and uncertainty of building a recessed shower niche from individual pieces on site.

The W-S Shower Niche must be covered with ceramic tile, stone, or another compatible hard finish. The tile-ready surface supports secure bonding with the specified tile adhesive. Select the adhesive and installation method according to GURU’s requirements and the recommendations for the chosen finishing material.
The niche can be installed with suitable brick, masonry, concrete, wood-stud, or metal-stud wall construction. Framing and spacing must meet GURU’s requirements, and a horizontal cross member should support the niche when it is installed horizontally. Confirm that the wall cavity can accommodate the selected niche before installation.
The niche is secured to the framing with the included washers and matching screws, then its perimeter is tied into the surrounding waterproofing with W-S Band. Any punctured WATER-STOP surface must be sealed as directed. W-S Niche is intended for interior use and should not be installed in exterior applications.
