wedi S-DRY Shower Kits provide a complete solution for building a waterproof shower system with a curb using wedi S-DRYâ„¢ technology. Each kit includes the essential components needed to create a consistent waterproof barrier across the shower floor and surrounding areas, helping simplify installation and reduce the need to source individual materials.
At the center of the kit is a pre-sloped wedi S-DRY™ Shower Base with a factory integrated and waterproofed drain using Fundo® Click and Seal® technology. This system helps ensure a secure drain connection while directing water efficiently toward the drain. The base can be cut to size and installed using thinset mortar directly over subfloors.
The included waterproofing components, including corners, seals, tape, and membrane, are designed to work together as a system to create a continuous moisture barrier. This helps reduce installation complexity while maintaining consistency across all waterproofed areas of the shower.
wedi S-DRYâ„¢ SEAL is required for installation and is sold separately as a perishable product. Drain covers are also selected separately, allowing flexibility in choosing the final design and finish to match the completed shower.
