wedi® Suspended Shower Bench Seats are prefabricated corner seats with a 100% waterproof, closed-cell extruded polystyrene foam core. The surface bonds to thinset mortar for tile installation and eliminates the need to construct a concrete or metal-tray shower seat.
Stud-Mounted Installation Without Additional Blocking
The suspended design fastens to existing wall studs without requiring additional framing blocking. Included mounting brackets and fastening points are concealed from water exposure after installation.
350 lb. Installed Weight Capacity
Each shower seat supports up to 350 lbs. once properly installed. The wall-suspended design provides a functional tiled seating surface while keeping the area beneath the seat open.
Installation Components Included
Each seat includes the components required for mounting and sealing the assembly: wedi® Shower Seat mounting brackets, wedi® Joint Sealant, self-adhesive fiberglass mesh tape, and wedi® screws. Both seat sizes are manufactured in Germany.
